  • 2 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 Onion, Diced
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Tomato, Diced
  • 1 Pound American Cheese, cubed
  • 2 Tablespoons Smoke City Foods BBQ Rub
  • 1 Cup Green Chili, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Low Country Hot Sauce
  • Pickled Jalapenos
    1. In a cast iron skillet melt butter and add onions, cook till soft and translucent.
    2. Add heavy cream and bring to simmer. Once simmering, add cubed cheese, diced tomatoes, Smoke City Foods BBQ Rub, green chilies and Low Country Hot Sauce. Stir constantly until cheese is completely melted.
    3. Once cheese is melted pour into serving bowl and top with pickled jalapenos.
    4. Serve Queso warm with tortilla chips.
